Maybe it was destiny. It seemed unexpected at the start but within a year, our fate was sealed together.

Life moved at a good pace and was in accordance to our goals and aspirations. Our daughter was born in 2008 and things changed. We became parents and it was a new turn in our life. It was a new roller coaster. And soon enough the balancing act needed to change. It was then, that Sonia decided to take a break from the mainstream work.

For the next few years, Anshul moved roles with global brands and Sonia dabbled with a few entrepreneurial ventures. It took a while for Sonia to understand that her real calling was in the education sector. She upped her skills in this field and soon enough became an educationist and a professional storyteller.

Anshul walked up the corporate ladder and life seemed per the plan. And as John Lennon said in his song, the 'Beautiful Boy', "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans".

One fine day in 2019, we decided to take a walk back in time. We decided to go over our dreams, aspirations, addictions. We had fulfilled a few and then, had missed some. There were things that we were really passionate about and somehow they had gotten left in the roller coaster ride. It was June 2019 and the three of us were on our holiday in Barcelona. We were relaxed, sipping some delicious traditional greek coffee brewed in a 'briki'. It was raining slowly and we were deeply immersed in the view. We were loving every moment, taking a pause and discussing our passions, our addictions and our life forward.

That passion was all about creativity, writing and stories and the telling of them. Suddenly we looked at each other and at the same time said, "You know what! We should setup a firm and unleash this knack of ours, of telling stories to the world. We should let people know the power that stories have and help them use this power at life and work. At that moment Anshul was working on a brand campaign whose ethos was on Work-Life balance and this flowed in naturally.

That is how StoryKnack™ was born. The year was 2019 and we were on a roll. This was pure, unadulterated love and this was us. Life has been an adventure since then. With a collective corporate experience of 45 years we launched our company Stories & Narratives and in it, our brand unit: StoryKnack™.

All of us have a latent passion and it is there for a reason. If we can sit back and take a moment, it would come up in the front. The still water will pave the way for something new and extraordinary Only then will we take the risk to go ahead with it and that is what will make life all the more worth a while.
